HCA to NAC Bridge Program

Current HCA certification holders can further their training, education and earnings potential by earning a Nursing Assistant Certification.

Course structure is very similar to our NAC courses, with some the required hours already being met with your current license. Current HCA licence holders need an additional 24 hours of class/lab and clinical work to be eligible for the state testing and NAC license.

These 24 hours of required training will include 5 hours of in-class learning and 15 hours of skills lab education, followed by 4 hours at one of our approved clinical sites. Classes will typically run Monday-Wednesday 9am-4pm for class and lab time; Thursday 9am-2:30 at an approved clinical site for orientation and clinical hours; and the final exam given on Friday from 9am-10am at Caremark.
