HCA to NAC Bridge Program

Current HCA certification holders can further their training, education and earnings potential by earning a Nursing Assistant Certification.

Give your career the right direction with CNA bridge program and unlock the doors to endless opportunities in the health sector.

HCA to CNA bridge program is an excellent way to give the much-needed boost to your profession, especially if you want to advance your career in the ever-growing health industry. The certified nursing assistant bridge program is designed to help home care aides (HAC) enhance their learning and acquire professional skills, required to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA); without the need to start from scratch. The best part of this program is that the professionals may even continue making efforts to earn an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing while enrolling in HCA bridge program.

Opting for NAC bridge program is even more important since your CNA certification is your gateway to the nursing field. This means, once you become a CNA, you may either choose to remain CNA all your professional life or later switch to some specialized profession as per your choice and interest.

Unquestionably, HCA to CNA bridge program is one of the most affordable and quickest ways to move up the career ladder in the nursing domain. HCA license holders just need an additional 24 hours of training to become eligible for the state examination and to acquire an NAC license. The 24-hour of requisite training comprises 5 hours of classroom-based learning and 15 hours of skills lab education, followed by 4 hours of on-site clinical upskilling at one of our approved clinical sites in Yakima.

As part of HCA bridge program, the classes and lab education typically run Monday through Wednesday every week from 9 AM to 4 PM, whereas the on-site skills training and orientation are conducted at an approved clinical site on Thursdays, between 9 AM – 2:30 PM. The final exam is conducted on Fridays, between 9 AM – 10 AM at our institute in Yakima.
