Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition Information

Caremark is proud to offer affordable clinical education in the Yakima area.  Tuition costs for NAC courses, continuing education and CPR/First Aid classes are competitive. We are happy to work with individuals needing to set up payment plans for our NAC courses. We offer 0% interest payment plans for qualified students.

Financial Expectations:

Individual Classroom/Online Courses

Classes in Nurse Delegation and other continuing education classes requires a payment of the full amount prior to receiving course materials.  Testing costs are included in the cost of the course.

Refunds are not given once course materials are given.  If a written test is required to obtain certificate of completion, the student is responsible of securing a test date within a set time frame outlined in the individual course materials.

CPR/First Aid Courses

CPR classes require a payment of $30 due at time of the class.  Students should preregister for a course to ensure space is available and may prepay for that course.

Students must give Caremark 24 hours notice if unable to attend for a full refund.  Only $20 is refunded for notice under 24 hours or no-shows.  Full refunds are also offered if class is canceled by Caremark.

NAC Courses

NAC program applicants will incur a $30 application fee due upon application submission.  Applicants are required to answer all questions honestly and understand that background checks and information verification will be done by Caremark.  Applying to Caremark is NOT an automatic admission into the program.

Upon acceptance to Caremark’s NAC program, students will be required to attend an orientation held approximately one week prior to the start of the course.  Before entering the clinical portion of the course, all students must have a current CPR/First Aid card and TB Skin Test.  These items are all available through Caremark at an additional cost and must be scheduled immediately in order to begin clinical training on time.  Any student entering this program already having completed these items must show proper documentation of completion.  Failure to complete these pre-requisites in a timely manner may result in dismissal from the course.

Payment for tuition and fees can be paid in full or part upon acceptance into the program. Payment structures can be set up in one of two ways.

1 – Full Payment $950:

    • Total fees due at orientation will be $275 which includes orientation fees, ID badge, books, supplies and materials.
    • The remaining tuition must be paid according to the following: A first payment installment of $323 is due on the first day of class.  Late tuition will incur a $10 per day late fee.  After three days of non-payment, the student will be un-enrolled from the program.  The final tuition installment of $322 is due by the final day of class.    Certificates of completion will not be issued to students who have not paid their tuition in full.  A certificate of completion is required to schedule your final state exam.

2 – Payment Plans $999.98:

    • Total fees due at orientation will be $200. This payment includes $150 to cover orientation fees, ID badge, books, supplies and materials, and a $50 set-up fee for automatic funds withdrawal.
    • The remaining tuition will be automatically withdrawn in the amount of $133.33 per month for six months beginning 30 days from final Caremark exam.

Additional costs may be incurred throughout the course.  Students are required to have and wear a watch with a second hand.  Please note that Caremark is not responsible for your transportation or meal costs.  Lost ID badges will incur a $10 fee to replace.  Additional Caremark scrubs can be purchased for $30.  Fees and tuition do NOT cover the cost of the final state exam and state license fee.

Financial Aid Information

Unfortunately, Caremark cannot offer financial aid at this time.  While we wait for accreditation, there are many outside sources that students may access for grants and assistance.

Great resources for external financial aid include:

Caremark does have payment installments for the NAC courses to help ease the financial burden.
